Matrix Revolutions - Movie Reviews
This is the last instalment of the Matrix trilogy by the Wachowski brothers who attempt to wrap up their story,
which probably was a bad idea as they try to squeeze their story into 2 hours and the result is a choppy sequence which
doesn`t flow as well as it should.
The story picks up from the end of the Matrix Reloaded, the second instalment of the trilogy, where the machines are drilling their way into the last human city, Zion, with a couple of industrial powered drills the size of the Eiffel Tower
with millions of Sentinels ( search and destroy robots ) ready to attack. Neo ( played by Keanu Reeves ) and his gang of Trinity ( played by Carrie Anne Moss ),
Morpheus ( played by Laurence Fishburne ) and others have got to stop the attack by the machines, and also malevolent Agent Smith ( played by Hugo Weaving ).
The fast paced storyline is more suited to a story book. Too many sequences are incompletely explained due to the insufficient time, and it seems like a long roller coaster ride
till the time when the movie`s wrapping up and you go ," So what just happened here ?"
It`s already made history by being the first movie to open simulateously around the globe in so many cities, but perhaps you`ll do better to wait for the director`s cut where you`ll probably be able to understand things a little better.
