Under the Tuscan Sun - Movie Reviews
Starring the beautiful countryside scenery of Tuscany in its full bloom in summer, of blazing yellow fields of sunflowers, and costarring Diane Lane of Unfaithful fame,
this is a movie which will make you want to get out there in a cabriolet with the top down, speeding down roads bordering on the italian mediterranean.
Diane Lane plays a lady unlucky in love, and does the impulsive thing of buying the ultimate impulse buy - a villa in Tuscany.
Along the way, she travels the road of self discovery, helping her pregnant lesbian best friend and the young teenage couple of her renovation labourer and her neighbour`s daughter.
Vastly different from the book of the same name, the movie is slow moving, almost boring, but the beautiful scenery gives enough spectacle to make this worth seeing on the big screen.
